Job Description
A large healthcare conglomerate in Mobile is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant.
Responsibilities of CCMA:
- Initial intake to include taking vital signs, height and weight; pulls and assesses charts for accuracy and documents in EMR; prepares exam rooms, transports specimens to lab and assist patients.
- Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
- Serves as a primary coordinator of all triage.
- Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
- Assesses and coordinates patient' s discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
*Must have certification/diploma in Medical Assisting + 1 year of experience.
*Must be fully vaccinated.
*Must have active BLS/CPR certification.
*Must be able to work Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm.
