Director of Sales responsibilities include developing key growth sales strategies, tactics and action plans. Successful execution of these strategies is required to achieve your financial targets. Sales director duties will include hitting annual targets, building relationships and understanding customer trends.
Director of Sales responsibilities are:
Exceeding annual sales targets; Implementing and executing strategic plans; Building and maintaining good customer relationships; Communicating effectively among clients and higher managers; Creating reports on sales performance; Understanding category-specific landscapes and trends;
Director of Sales requirements are:
Experience as a Sales Director; Previous position as a sales executive, sales manager or sales and marketing director; Effective communication skills (verbal and written); Proven ability to maximize sales; Demonstrable experience as head of sales, developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions; Great listening, negotiation, organizational and presentation skills; BA/BSc in Marketing, Business or related field / MA/Msc would be preferred
