A large healthcare conglomerate is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to work at a high-volume location in Mobile.
Responsibilities of MA:
Initial intake to include taking vital signs, height and weight; pulls and assesses charts for accuracy and documents in EMR; prepares exam rooms, transports specimens to lab and assist patients.
Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
Serves as a primary coordinator of all triage.
Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
Assesses and coordinates patient' s discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
*Must have certification/diploma in Medical Assisting + at least 1 year of experience in Orthopedics and/or Surgery. *Must be fully vaccinated. *Must have active BLS/CPR certification. *Must have reliable transportation. *Must be able to work Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm.
